2.  Every year, hundred of thousands of teenagers in the United States give birth. In 2009, the most recent year for which final data is available, more than 410,000 girls ages 15 to 19 had babies.  Teen moms are more likely to drop out of high school, and they are less likely to ever receive a high school diploma.  79% of the teenagers who become pregnant are unmarried.

3.  Boys and peer pressure are some of the things that convince a girl to become sexually active.  Going around having sex with people with no connections wit.  Babies born to teens may have weaker intellectual development and lower skill set scores at kindergarten. They may also have ongoing medical issues and behavioral issues.

4.  Talking openly with your parents is usually the best option  Teens can get into programs that can encourage them to stay abstinent and avoid sex  Wear a condom and be on birth control

5. What I learned is this issue is affecting not only teens around the world but also teens around around me and in my area. Learning everything that goes on with teen pregnancy and what they have to go through is something I don’t want to deal with and not ready to take on
