Biography Born in Kenosha, Washington in 1940 Began playing musing at age 9 with a clarinet Enrolled in Lawrence University in 1962 Later studied with notable musicians Rudolph Kolisch, Rene Liebowitz, and Robert Crane at the University of Wisconsin in the early 1960's. He began working in electronic music in 1967 Published the book An Electronic Music Studio Manual in 1969, which became the standard for text used in the Moog Synthesizer.

Techniques For his electronic music, he used Moog Synthesizer's, a type of analog synthesizer The Moog Synthesizer intakes old noises and blends them together with new ones, to create music Pellegrino also used galvanometers to measure small quantities of electric currents typically experimented with the Synthesizer to learn of it's capabilities

Works 2 Lissajous Is Leaping Lizards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRP77AmPD1k Pellegrino composed this music with an iPad to test speed and density of the sound. The visual aspect of the work came from one of his laser studies
