In the beginning of the summer I took a trip to San Antonio and went to the Texas State Capitol and I also saw the Texas State Museum and I also visited the Alamo, I also went to Sea World. Then I played in the USSSA World Series in Grand Prairie Texas with the Texarkana SLAM. After that I had a trip of a life time when I went to Washington D.C. and to the B.S.A.’s National Jamboree. There I met Mike Tyson, Mike Rowe, and saw Lincoln Park. I also visited the White House, The Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War 2 Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, Vietnam memorial, Arlington Cemetery, tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Aerospace museum, and the museum of natural museum. At the National Jamboree I met scouts from Japan, England, Australia, Sweden, Canada, Germany, Iran and many more. I learned a lot about their cultures and there way of life. I also flew for the first time and rode in a subway for the first time. It was a summer I will never forget.

The Year I was born. PAGE 3 The year 1997 was an important year because that was the year my twin brother Connor and I were born but not only that were there important events in history that happened. For one the first women secretary of state Madeline Albright was sworn into office on January 23, 1997. On February 23, 1997 Scottish Scientist confirms the successful cloning of an adult mammal, Dolly the lamb. There was also an Iranian earthquake that killed around 1500 people and injured around 2500. Also the first pictures of the surface of Mars were released on July 4, 1997. On the month and day of my birth but not the same year Christopher Columbus was the first to discover the island of Trinidad on his 3 rd voyage to the West in the year 1498. In 1997 was the year we moved into our new house that we live in today in Pleasant Grove. This is Dolly the lamb, he is a cloned sheep. Madeline Albright was the first women Secretary of State. A Memory PAGE 4 There is one memory I have that I know very well. One day I was with my friend Kylar. It was late in the afternoon and we could not really decide what to do so we both just ended up agreeing to walk around out in the pasture behind my house. We both grabbed two fishing poles to go fish at the pond which was about a mile deep on the property. At that time we didn’t know that there were not any fish in the pond. When we got there we baited our lines and casted. We waited and waited but there wasn’t anything biting. As we were waiting we started to hear loud footsteps and a lot of them too. It sounded to us like a herd of buffalo running and it seemed to be getting louder. Since we were not catching anything or even getting bites we decided to walk around a peninsula of trees toward the sound to see what it was. It was a herd of about 30 cows running toward us. Our first instinct was to run because if we could get to the gate in time and climb over it. we would be safe so that’s what we did. We thought we could out run the cows but they slowly caught up to us. The calf’s were running the fastest. One caught up to me and hit me on my leg throwing me up in the air. I hit the ground with a loud thump. After getting up really fast and realizing the gate was only about 50 yards away and Kylar was already over the gate. I ran as fast as I could and it felt like I was superman with all the adrenaline. I dove through a tiny gap in the gate to make it out. I will never forget that day I spent with Kylar.

If I had a Million Dollars PAGE 5 If I had a million dollars the first thing I would do would be to donate 50,000 dollars of it to a charity of my choice. The next thing I would do would be to buy the latest model of a black Chevy Silverado with a lift kit, and then I would install two 15 inch subwoofers to my new truck. Then after I do that, I would buy a deer lease and have a cabin built on the lease so I can hunt there. I would buy a brand new ranger to ride on at the deer lease. For my room I would put a 90 inch 3d flat screen television with a brand new Xbox 360 and a Blue ray player. I would then buy season tickets to the Texas Rangers games and season tickets to the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks. I would buy sideline passes to the Razorback games because the Arkansas Razorbacks are my favorite team. Then I would go to Australia and go to the Great Barrier Reef, go scuba diving and spear fishing. With the left over money I would take my three brothers to the World Jamboree in Japan in 2015. I would also use some of that movie to buy all the movie tickets for a movie theater and invite everyone I know to watch a movie. Then I would build and add on to my house and make a movie room with a screen and projector and make myself a giant room to sleep in with my own huge bathroom. The shower would have its own iPod and the walls would be large shower heads that would shoot out water to the beat of the music and it would shoot soap and water. I would hire my own maid to clean up after me and do my chores and laundry. Then I would give the rest of the money to my parents to do whatever they want with it. I would be very happy if I had all of that and that is what I would do if I had a million dollars.

It would be much too dangerous to talk about… PAGE 8 It would be much too dangerous to talk about the time, wait. Why am I about to say it? It’s just too dangerous to talk about it. I’m just going to say it. I have been hit by a car. It’s just that plain and simple. It’s not like it was my fault or anything. The driver was just out of control, or he didn’t know he was supposed to turn. I don’t know but whatever it was, it hurt and it hurt really bad. I was just walking home from a friend’s house, nothing more nothing less. It wasn’t too dark but not that bright either. I was walking along a very sharp curve and I was extra careful watching cars as they made their turn and I think that is the reason why I wasn’t in the hospital. As I was walking I was watching this small black car as it was turning or at least I thought it was turning and it drove off the road. At that moment everything slowed down, my heart starting to race as fast as it could, I could feel the adrenaline rushing through my body, and my life flashed before my eyes. With instinct I tried to jump up and land on the hood but when I tried that the side of the car hit my thigh sending me flying in a spinning motion. When I landed I was in intense pain my legs were throbbing and my arm was hurting. The man in the black car drove out the ditch and drove away as fast as he could, leaving me to lay there in a pile of leaves for about an hour and a half. By the time I could stand up again it was very dark. I walked around for 15 minutes to find my phone and after using the light to see my leg I saw a huge bruise but from my knowledge I knew it was not broken. I walked home and decided to just go to bed not even thinking about telling my parents. I didn’t think it was too big of a deal so I never told them, that’s why it’s much too dangerous to talk about this.

(CHORUS) Yeah, I'm chillin' on a dirt road, Laid back swervin' like I'm George Jones. Smoke rollin' out the window, An' ice cold beer sittin' in the console. Memory lane up in the headlights, It's got me reminiscing on them good times. I'm turning off of real life, drivin' that's right, I'm hittin' easy street on mud tires. Back in the day Pott's farm was the place to go. Load the truck up, hit the dirt road. Jump the barbwire, spread the word. Light the bonfire, then call the girls. The king in the can and the Marlboro man. Jack'n'Jim were a few good men. Where ya learned how to kiss and cuss and fight too. Better watch out for the boys in blue. And all this small town he said, she said, Ain't it funny how rumors spread. Like I know something ya'll don't know, Man that talk is gettin' old. Ya better mind your business, man, watch your mouth, Before I have to knock that loud mouth out. Im tired of talkin, man, ya'll ain't listenin', Them old dirt roads is what ya'll missin'. kiss business (CHORUS) I sit back and think about them good ole days. The way we were raised, and our southern ways, And we like cornbread, and biscuits, And if it's broke round here we fix it. I can take ya'll where ya need to go, Down to my hood, back in them woods. We do it different 'round here, that's right, But we sure do it good, and we do it all night. See, if you really wanna know how it feels, To get off the road with trucks and four wheels, Jump on in, and man, tell your friends, We'll raise some h*** where the blacktop ends. (CHORUS) PAGE 12

They run on to the field like an army to battle, Their captain leading the way. The roar of the crowd as distant cannons. Their colors bending to wind’s way. Brave are the players focused on victory. They fight with hearts filled with aim Prepared to execute their captain’s orders Rehearsed and armed for the game. No matter the outcome of their cause, They fill each half with their sweat. No shame in the fight or tears for their loss They pay it all as a player’s dept I am such a warrior sent into battle My brigade I am expected to lead. Never to flinch or to fear one moment, To lead my team to succeed!

Things that are important to me. PAGE 14 There are many things important to me. The most important thing to me is my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Then it is my family, who I car deeply for. Next is my education because like Horace Mann once said “A human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated.” Another important thing to me is sports because with sports I can get an education to any college I want to for free and that is what I am hoping to do through football or baseball. I love to play and watch football but it is a way I can get a scholarship to any university I want. I can also do this through baseball too. I have not yet decided what I have truly wanted to do and once I choose I will devote all of my free time to getting better at it. I will play baseball and football in high school and maybe in college too, that is what I am praying for. What makes me special is my talent at playing football and baseball, and I am also very smart, that is probably why I am quarterback because you have to have football skills and you have to be very smart too to be good at that position and I think it fits my character very well as a leader and I try and lead by example. These are the things that are special to me and are also what make me special.
