EU Governance and Cultural Diplomacy A recap: what is the EU today (and what is Europe in a global world) A discussion on relevant actions/concepts concerning the role of EU (or any supranational polity) in the current world Why a relevant matter? - GGCD students: not specialists of EU studies. Some IR courses but rather different backgrounds - EM students: courses onEuropean history and (different) skills in political science and IR

What I expect from each student A minimum knowledge of the EU as a political system / policy making arena A more precise focus on External relations of EU Familiarity with case studies, conflict resolution management and main actions from the EU institutions
