Introduction to clinical environment What is the purpose of clinical education? -The purpose is to ensure that a program graduate will competently perform a full range of radiologic procedures on children and adults. -Interactions between the students, hospital staff, inpatients and outpatients is an essential part of clinical education. -- How can we get educated from our interactions with others in hospital? -- For you to answer???

What are the major clinical policies? 1.Supervision: -Direct and indirect supervision is required to ensure progressive development of the student and to protect against any vital mistake. 2.Radiation protection practices: -Radiation protection device should always be part of the student uniform to measure radiation dose periodically. 3.Pregnancy: -Pregnant student or staff must report the case to the supervisor to prevent harmful situation or miscarriage from occurring.
