2. The Cell Cycle What is the cell cycle? Cell cycle – regular sequence of growth and division that a cell undergoes. Do all cells go through cell division? No, some cells do not divide- nerve and cardiac muscle cells don’t. Why do cells go through cell division? For growth, repair, and development.
