Lets examine a different perspective of the Titanic passenger* examples in your book: MATH 1107 - Visualization MenWomenBoysGirlsTotal Survived33531232 711 Died13381082618 1490 Total 167342058502201 * I found discrepancies between the “official” Titanic figures and those provided in the book. In an effort to reduce confusion in class, I have attempted to recreate the gender/age frequencies to match with the totals provided in the book. If you are interested in facts about the passengers of the Titanic, check out http://www.historyonthenet.com/Titanic/passengers.htm.
