2 Occupational therapy assistants main focus is on everyday occupations of therapy. They help clients/patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

3 Two year training program for certification & License to practice. SLCC and U of U are the only two schools that offers OTA programs. Have to take 36 credits every three years to maintain certification

4 This career has a wide range of areas from pediatrics to geriatrics. You help people with disabilities or who have been injured back to the highest level of functioning possible and restore their independence. You use creativity and adaptive equipment to help them in their everyday lives.

5 For this only being a two year degree you can make really good money. Utah Futures.com says $53,640 per year is the Utah median. There is a high demand for COTAs and according to wwwe.bls.gov in 2012 there was 38,600 available jobs and stated to be that way through 2020. Competition wise, is the people you graduate with which is like 25-30 people.
