Internship Across Multiple Semesters While most students engage in only one internship in a single semester, you may engage in more than one across multiple semesters Same site – multiple semesters Different site – secondary semester(s)
8
Secondary semester(s) of Internship at Same Site If continuing at the same site for additional semester(s), you will not be expected to engage in the “Off Site” activities previously described, but must successfully engage the “On Site” activities. With successful completion of On Site activities, the student will be assigned the same course grade as in their first semester If the student seeks a different course grade, then both On Site and Off Site activities must be pursued with different research topics for the course papers and presentation
9
Secondary semester(s) of Internship at a New Site If a student desires to pursue a secondary internship in a new or different location, they must engage all course activities as described in the course syllabus Essentially, this is an entirely new internship, requiring entirely new work The course grade will be determined by the work submitted during the semester
