First Aid: First aid is the initial assistance or treatment given to someone who is injured or suddenly taken ill.

1-To assess a situation quickly and safely 2- To protect victims and others at the scene from possible danger 3-To identify, as much as possible the injury or nature of the illness affecting the victim

4-To give each victim early and appropriate treatment----treat most serious conditions first 5-To arrange for the victim transport to a hospital into the care of a doctor or to his home as necessary. 6-If medical aid is needed,to remain with the victim until further care is available

Choking is blockage of air way, it may be partial or complete obstruction Partial: Coughing and distress Difficulty speaking Complete: Inability to speak Eventual loss of consciousness

What to do? To remove the obstruction Ask the victim to cough Open the airway If failed: Carry out back slaps Bend well person forwards and give 5 back slaps

If failed try abdominal thrusts. Check mouth Repeat back slaps and abdominal thrusts Check breathing Give rescue breathing At any stage if the victim become unconscious To call 977

Asthma is one of the respiratory system problems. It is one of an allergy diseases Signs and symptoms: 1-Difficulty breathing with prolonged exhaling phase 2-wheezing 3-difficulty speaking and whispering

4-features of hypoxia 5-distress and anxiety 6-cough 7- in sever attack exhaustion, rarely the victim loses his consciousness and stops breathing

1-keep calm and reassure person 2-adop the position 3-use a spacer with the inhaler 4-mild asthma ease within 3 minutes,if not repeat the dose from the same inhaler

Drowning is the falling in water and sinking deep. What to do? 1-get the victim out without getting in 2-check the breathing if he is breathing lay him down If no do breathing rescue
