SARC Strategic Plan Mission Given there is no successful structure in the US to provide platform to make progress in the diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma, SARC exists to fill that void Vision/Future picture of success Bring to the public new and effective therapies that will reduce pain and suffering for sarcoma patients Provide stimulus for the recruitment and training of the brightest and best clinician scientists to choose to study sarcoma in the future Through collaboration and pooling of intellect, identify new and effective therapies Establish SARC as the academic “voice” of sarcoma expertise Provide stimulus and infrastructure for exchange of ideas

SARC Participation Criteria Membership in CTOS Site Principal Investigator 80 or more new cases per year Annual review/renewal

SARC Medical Officer Medical Officer role Coordinate review of new concepts, protocols, and manuscripts Chair monthly review of all ongoing studies Respond to specific medical inquiries Oversight of safety Resource to project managers at SARC Work with study PIs

Clinical Trial Concept New study proposal Submit to Medical Officer SARC to post format at website Process for review Medical officer to present to Executive Committee for consideration in relation to strategic direction Approved concepts/protocol development SARC protocol template Medical officer and SARC operations staff support
