2. ◣ Motivation ◥ A bathroom toilet is one of the necessities in our daily life. Girls sit on toilet seats when they use the bathroom, while boys stand to urinate.

3. ◣ Motivation ◥ The standing often causes urine to splatter all over the toilet rim and the bathroom floor. Thus, we brainstormed ways to design a dual- function toilet.

4. Japanese invented a kneeling posture for Males to urinate. But It is very inconvenient and uncomfortable for male users.

5. But since it takes up space, so it may not be suitable for normal household usage. Other Innovative Devices

6. ◣ Design and Operation ◥ This device set consists of a toilet seat, a seat cover and a male urinal.

7. The bottom of the set is connected to the toilet bowl and the water tank with a retractable sliding track. ◣ Design and Operation ◥

8. When not in use, the urinal is kept upright, and attached to the water tank. ◣ Design and Operation ◥

9. When a male user intends to use it, he starts with pressing an electrical activation button on the top of the water tank. Then, the whole set moves forward on the retractable track towards the male user. ◣ Design and Operation ◥

10. At the middle of the toilet bowl, the whole set will turn 180 0 clockwise until the urinal faces the user. ◣ Design and Operation ◥

11. Then, he can easily use it as usual without splattering or leaving any mess on the toilet seat or the floor. ◣ Design and Operation ◥ After usage, the last thing he needs to do is press a flushing button to rinse the urinal and the toilet bowl.

12. ◣ Design and Operation ◥ Water goes through a draining tube at the bottom of the urinal. Afterward, the set will automatically turn 180 0 clockwise, and then move back to its place by the water tank.
