1 Lesson 29: Photosynthesis and Respiration POGIL
DO NOW: (5 minutes) Review your corrected POGIL and discuss the answers with your lab group. Make sure EVERY member of your group writes down the correct answers and understands incorrect answers. HOMEWORK: 1. Review photosynthesis and respiration. Today’s Plan: Do Now POGIL Model 1 Review POGIL Model 2 Completion Closure OBJECTIVE: We will learn to Describe the interdependence between photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Predict how human activity can disturb the balance if CO2 in the atmosphere.

2 Closure Each lab group will give a 1 minute presentation explaining their answers to the POGIL extension questions.

3 Lesson 30: Plants and Snails Gizmo Day 1
DO NOW: (5 minutes) 1. What important gas do we take in when we breathe? 2. Why don’t we run out of the important gases that we need to stay alive? HOMEWORK: 1. None Today’s Plan: Do Now Virtual Gizmo Lab Closure OBJECTIVE: We will learn to Develop an experiment on cellular respiration to determine how snails and elodea can survive in a test tube. Collect data in a virtual experiment to investigate what gases plants and animals take in and give off.
