Experiential Learning Opportunities The CSUN Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic – Students of all majors may receive course credit for serving as Tax Preparers or as Supervisors in the VITA Clinic The Bookstein Low Income Tax Clinic – Senior accounting students may receive course credit for serving as a Tax Clinician in helping low income taxpayers resolve disputes with the IRS The Bookstein Community Outreach Clinic – Senior accounting students may receive course credit for serving as a Tax Educator in facilitating workshops to low income taxpayers on various federal tax topics 23
