8 Has led to…a shared values base Developing a shared values base for mental health in Lothian – 10 Essential Shared Capabilities and Realising Recovery 6 modules and WRAP; Advance Statements; Person Centered Planning; Peer Support Pool of trainers c16 – over ½ with lived experience of mental health difficulties A collective response to work across Lothian in line with strategic priorities

9 Has led to…Creating a resource pack by service users for use by workers Funded project partnership with CAPS Presentation at ‘Making A Difference’ Positive experiences sourced from websites, bulletin boards Responses grouped around a number of themes Services and support Knowledge and information Attitude and approach Validation Friends, Family and Peer Support Thinking Outside the box

10 Has led to…ICP for borderline personality disorder Decision we would include borderline Good service user and carer involvement Final stages incorporating recommendations from the Matrix

11 Has led to.. Making a difference with staff Shift into a focus on the parts that we as staff play in 'caring' relationships. A reflection on what our agendas are, what our desires are, and what our needs are. Thought about how our actions and interventions might be understood and experienced by others.

12 Model developed with Psychotherapy Department and Homeless Service Regular meetings to think about where we are in relation to people who are being considered for exclusion. Analysis of the circumstances leading up to event. Attempts where possible to maintain a relationship, and one that has the potential for health. Contracts of engagement for clients (for staff actually).

13 Exploring…. Advice Line for frontline practitioners Moray Model – Self-help, support group Supervision and training for support workers in 3 rd sector Greater collaboration between specialist services and 3 rd sector
