Equipment Codes (type of shielding) Concrete  JSCAA – Infrastructure, Shielding, Concrete, type AA Iron  JSIAA – Infrastructure, Shielding, Iron, type AA Lead  JSLAA – Infrastructure, Shielding, Lead, type AA Some other codes may be needed when different materials are used. Functional Codes (function of the shielding) Personnel Protection  JSP Equipment Protection  JSE Structural  JSS If mobile, add an ‘M’ to the functional code (e.g. JSPM)

4. Equipment and Functional Codes *GEOSIP ‘Work’ Identifier is used only for shielding not inside buildings. The location is identified through the GIS Portal. Examples PR.JSP03=350 – personnel shielding near section 03 of the PS Ring, in building 350 JSE.01=4151A. – equipment shielding in area 4151A (i.e. grass outside R2, 1 st occurrence) JSE.02=4151A – 2 nd occurrence of equipment shielding in area 4151A BR.JSP1L1=360 – personnel shielding near section 1L1 of the PS Booster, in building 360
