We will “pre-read” Chapters 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 Pre-Reading Means: Read subtitles in Table of Contents Look at every page, Look at every picture Read some key words if you are interested. 7 Part 3. The State Of Michigan Our Politicians vote on Environmental Issues CONSTANTLY. We are awarded grants from the Federal (US) Government- IF we can document our goals and progress properly. Our Department of Education REQUIRES that all high school graduates have strong knowledge, in order to be more informed voters. YOU will make decisions that can bring in money and preserve nature- OR- destroy our freshwater- and have negative effects WORLDWIDE.

8 Part 4. Next Topics Niches (What roles do living and nonliving things have?) Habitats (Where does it live? How does that effect nutrition, lifespan, reproduction?) Relationships (Parasites, Mutually beneficial, Symbiotic- you’ll use these words soon) Biosphere (worldwide living areas) FOOD WEBS! (food chains with many relationships… Who eats what?)
