3 Foxes Fantastic Foods The fox usually eats fruits, vegetables, insects, frogs, lizards, snakes, rabbits, mice, and other rodents. The food that they eat makes their teeth different meat eaters. Their teeth in the back is flat so they can eat some plants better.

4 The foxes crazy homes! The kit fox lives in the United States. The Gray Fox lives throughout the United States. The Artic fox lives in the cold Artic regions of Europe, Asia, and North America. The Artic Fox uses its pure-white coat to make them camouflage in the snow.

5 The Fox The Fantastic Sleeper All foxes sleep in dens. Some foxes make their own dens. But many foxes enlarge a burrow that was dug by a woodchuck or a rabbit. The entrance is 8 to 12 inches [20 to 30 centimeters.]

6 The Foxes Cool Adaptations The Foxes first adaptation is fur,the fur for a fox is used for warmth in the cool weather. The second adaptation is the tail,the tail is used for balance. The third adaptation is caws, the claws are used for digging dens and digging up some food.

7 Omnivore, Carnivore, and Herbivore The fox eats animals like mice, insects, lizards, snakes, rabbits, mole rats, and other rodents. But they also eat fruits and veggies. They eat all types of food.

8 What will these sneaky foxes need to move? They would need to have water. They would not need some food because they are really good hunters. They would need a den to sleep in. They can almost sleep anywhere.
