Procedure Collect Data –Detailed traffic counts (lots of locations!!) –Land use data –Highway network data Process Data –Convert to same format –Calculate – AM peak direction percentages – Time of day factors – Truck percentages –Stratify counts based on area type, functional class –Plotting the graphs

4. Procedure (Continued) Analysis of Patterns –Manually stratify based on land use (used GIS) –Analyze average hourly factors –Analyze average truck factors –Statistical analysis for confidence interval (t-statistic)
