Answers to Part 1 The area we live in is experiencing daytime. This part of the Earth is facing the direct light of the sun.

Answers to Part 2 Earth rotates or spins on its axis once every 24 hours causing day and night. The Earth revolves or travels around the sun once every 365 1/4 days and causes the seasons.
