Goal: Use past simple and present perfect. Activity: You and your classmates need to form a company. Decide who gets with position. Each person gets a resume. Describe your work experience using the past simple and the present perfect.

Goal: Identify past achievements using the past perfect. Activity: Listen to a radio program about a child prodigy. Fill in a chart about her past, achievements, and future plans.

Goal: Fill in the blanks with the correct grammar form. (Part 1. and 2.) Activity: Part 1: Fill in a conversation with the correct modals of certainty/uncertainty. Part 2: Fill in a conversation with the correct order, request, permission, or persuasion.

Goal: Fill in the blanks with the vocabulary. Activity: Fill in the blanks with vocabulary from unit 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Take two minutes. Review Unit 1 and Unit 2. With a partner, write: One question you have about Unit 1 One question you have about Unit 2

Unit 1: Draw a timeline that describes the present perfect. When do we use the present perfect? The past simple? Answer the questions. Unit 2: Draw groups which represent the modals of uncertainty. When do we use each different modal? Answer the questions.

Divide into two teams. The first person to choose the correct word gets a point!
