2 I. INTRODUCTION Vietnam is a tropical country and developing. Therefore, the emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases is burning, approximately 3.5 million people contracted per year Infectious diseases and epidemics in the Vietnam military there was specific characteristics. Study objectives 1. Identify model of infectious diseases and epidemics in the military (2010-2014) 2. Evaluate the prevention and control of infectious diseases and epidemics in the military. Period of study: 5 years (January 2010 - December 2014)

13 III. CONCLUSION 1. The number of military patients hospitalized due to infectious diseases from 2010 - 2014 reduced 23.57%. Hepatitis B-C increased 1.33 - 19.6% and Tuberculosis from 4.27 - 8.26%/ year. 2. A total of 59 outbreaks occurred, with 8 types of diseases. Outbreaks occurred every month, with a peak on February and October. 3. The military health system with measure “Monitoring - Early detection of cases" so far no mortality from 2010- 2014.
