Math Identify tens and ones
Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems Using story problems to write number sentences Understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine if equations involving addition and subtraction are true or false.

Writing By the end of the year students should able to construct 5-8 complete sentences on a given topic. Sentences need to have a capital letter at the beginning and period at the end. Sentences need to be a complete thought.
