4. My Special Event: Preview Staff 2008! The first people to greet you at the University of Florida are the orientation leaders. Sometimes they are way too hyper and loud, but in the end they make your visit to UF a memorable one In Fall 2007, I finally decided to apply to participate in a UF tradition that I had been longing to be part of, after two years of wanting to. During the month of October alone, I went through 3 rounds of interviews to finally get the good news that I would be part of the 2008 Preview Staff! The members of my staff have become my family and are amazing people. My 36 fellow staffers and I went on a weekend retreat from January 4- 6 and were able to get to know each other on a deeper level. This is a very exciting achievement for me and I am ready for the year ahead of me.
