Fractions at Home! You need to bake 4 dozen cookies for your team’s bake sell. You need 1/4 cup of sugar to make one dozen of cookies. How much sugar is needed to make 48 cookies?

Factual Facts! The top number is called the numerator. The bottom number is called the denominator. Equivalent fractions are fractions that name the same amount.
