8. FLOODS Some natural hazards occur all over the world, for example FLOODS caused by heavy rainfall. Others are related to certain geological patterns or climatic conditions and are concentrated in certain areas. Where are the most hazardous areas in the world?

9. Volcanic Eruptions & Earthquakes Caused by movements beneath the Earth’s Surface. Plates meet at boundaries or margins and it is in narrow belts along these boundaries where the major centres of volcanic and earthquake activity occurs.
