Transitioning between current course offerings and NGSS course recommendations
For example: Many schools offer Earth 8, Biology 9, Chem10 and Physics 11. The Achieve and MDE top recommended course structure is Physical Science 9, Biology 10 and Earth Science th grade will have grade level content expectations.
Collaboration on unit planning and assessment creation at the local and national level
Possible transition to annual assessments of NGSS in grades 3-8 in future years
