2. Overview Zambia is located in south central Africa. The land is mainly savannah except for three major rivers and mountain range called the Muchinga Mountains.

3. Similarities include English is the official language We both have a president money depends on imports and exports ethnically diverse people move around to find work we both celebrate “new years”

4. Differences Some of the differences are….. Zambia is more family orientated eating habits are different (they eat one main meal and various snacks throughout the day) they are more traditional (marriage issues and such) more respect for elders (women kneel when talking to elders.) public affection is frowned upon people take rides from anyone on the rode and pay them, they usually just walk. Where as here if you “hitch hike” its frowned upon. telephone lines are never reliable income usually just enough to send the oldest boy to school.
