Roger D Smith 27 February 2007 Conclusions A decision to proceed is required Licensing is clearly a fundamental issue Procurement efficiency may be dependant on commitment to a 5 station programme Requirements for high quality resources should not be underestimated The shelf life of experienced resources is running out A new nuclear programme is fundamental to a balanced energy supply system
