My Profile Professional Experience 7th year at Upper Dublin High School. Taught 5 years at a federal school for at risk youth. Taught for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sichuan Province, China. 6th Year as an Adjunct Professor at LaSalle University's BUSCA program. Worked three years in Private Industry as a Corporate Trainer.

Education & Personal Information Bachelors Degree in English from Dickinson College. Masters Degree in Secondary English Education from Temple University Upper Dublin community member Proud husband & father of three kids, ages 8 years old, 4 years old and 2 years old. Interests include…. I have 3 children so I no longer have interests.

Ultimate Goal for the Year Prepare students for the many challenges they will face next year.

Goals for the Year Be better able to use all four language arts skills for any academic situation. Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening Maintain, establish or improve their work habits, study skills and note taking abilities. Improve their reading comprehension and attention to detail. Be able to discuss the universality of themes common to British Literature and the human condition. Be conversant in specific time periods in British History and the corresponding characteristics of that time period.

Grades Graded Assessments Include: Tests - Includes tests, presentations, papers, projects (35%-45%) Quizzes - Includes quizzes, written assignments (35%-45%) Homework - All graded homework (5%-20%)

Typical Work Load & Assessments Reading nearly every night. I use lots of quizzes during the reading of a text Papers, tests or multi-media projects at the completion of texts.
