DECEMBER PROCESS To identify the value of the “top-up” payment Requested the companies to provide the cost to company value of each staff Different payroll systems, and conditions of services between the companies Decided on selective amounts to Benefit the employees Ensure consistency in the calculations The “top-up” amount was added to bring each staff member’s cost to company to R 5 000.00

COST TO COMPANY PRINCPLE It indicates the total amount of expense an employer (organization) is spending for an employee. This is the total amount that an employer is prepared to pay for the employee and includes all benefits. Employees total package

HELP DESK The Task Team has requested that a Helpdesk be established to assist with queries regarding the NMMU relief (Top-Up) payments. Acquired the assistance of Ms Landiwe Mdenyeshwa Venues & times will be communicated. Staff must bring identification and a copy of the payslip being queried Each query will be documented. Staff should not leave without a query reference number. Feedback / progress will be given within 4 days.
