1. Vocal – Prayer that uses words (Did you really need me to say that?). 2. Meditative – Spending time reflecting on a specific aspect of God. 3. Contemplative – Abiding in God’s love, simply focusing your mind on God.

Blessing and Adoration – worship and veneration of God Petition – request for favors from God. Intercession – Prayer on behalf of another. Thanksgiving – Gratitude to God for His love. Praise – Glory to God simply for being God. Contrition – Sorrow for sins and offenses

Essay 1: Break the Lord’s Prayer into a minimum of seven distinct sections. Write a 1-2 sentence summary of each section to demonstrate you understand what that part of the Lord’s Prayer means according to our lessons in class. Three points for sensibly breaking the Lord’s Prayer into Seven distinct sections, 1 point for each summary of your seven sections. (10 POINTS)
