20.Research the impact of passive drinking on adults and young people 21.Raise awareness amongst young people about passive drinking and the support services available to them 22.Improve support for the whole family when an individual completes a brief intervention or accesses treatment 23.Scottish government should set up a youth-led investigation into how young people’s resilience and self-esteem is developed

36.Generate effective intelligence about the needs of young people with alcohol problems 37.Ensure that the needs of young people become central in the agendas of Alcohol and Drug Partnerships 38.Establish a ‘Youth Champion’ scheme as a permanent voice for young people in alcohol related policies
