17 Trends in ASEAN In Asia-Pacific, ASEAN is seeking a mechanism to make qualifications and degrees more transportable. ASEAN Quality Assurance Network - has not yet achieved very much progress Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) - has also not yet achieved very much progress

18 How Philippines can become more Globally Competitive 1Make the K – 12 system work 2Concentrate more resources on a smaller number of top performing centers in Teacher Education 3Use established frameworks for support 4Foster more Research Centers like UP 5All degrees written as Learning Outcomes
