With a partner, using English Each of you describe two of these accessories.

Real world: Use your own body to show How to carry it or wear it To show real size How it is used Reference points Feet or shoes?

Using CL: handshapes To show size, pattern and texture –Open “C”- large bulky, –Closed”C”- Has some depth, but not as much as an Open”C” –Bent”L”- broad or has some depth but not bulky –“G”- stripe, band, strap of that size, collar, cuff –“4”- plaid, pin stripe

CL: –“H”-something of small width- to show a label, or pressed tight to something.(label on computer, two stripes running side by side) –“F”- buttons, small polka dots –Open”8”- Larger polka dots –“8”-something small attached to, or pinned to (small pin). –“9”- interacting with something small or thin (shoe laces)

CL: Bent “5”- To show texture- Curly hair, pitted surface or irregular surface Wiggle “5”- to show texture and flow- torn up road, cascading earrings There is a huge world of CL:- Trust yourself. You actually use them when you talk with your hands.

Using signals These are determiners on the mouth signifying –Size –Distance cha mm oo

Activity Get a partner Sit on opposite sides of the room One of you need a pencil and paper Record the differences between you pictures Put your names on the paper
