BASTLM Program The program prepares students for management positions in transportation and logistics for public agencies and private companies.

General Program Information Evening program only Hybrid classes Program length - Can be completed in 2 years as a full time student or 3 years as a part time student Includes an academic bridge to complete prerequisite courses as needed

Program Details BASTLM admission: Fall, Winter, Spring The following is estimated program cost information for 2015 – 2016 to be used as a general guideline: 90 credits Books/Supplies $1,200 Tuition/Fees $13,512* Total Program Cost $14,320** * Tuition and Fees based on in-state tuition scale **Any Academic Bridge course work will add to the total program cost.

Application Information Applicants to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation and Logistics Management must meet the following criteria: Be eligible for admission to Lake Washington Institute of Technology Complete all Admission Requirements Have all foreign transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved agency – contact Enrollment Services for more info Satisfy the Minimum grade point average Submit a completed Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation and Logistics Management Application to LWTech Enrollment Services

Admissions Requirements Completion of requirements for an earned Applied Associate Degree, Direct Transfer Associate Degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate transportation, business administration, management or operations-related associate degree program. * Completion of 15 of the 30 credits of General Education prerequisite coursework with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA per class. Minimum Cumulative 2.0 GPA across all college coursework in the associate degree. *Students must have either all or a minimum of 15 credits of the above courses completed at the time of admissions. Students who have courses to complete at the time of admissions may be admitted conditionally. Students with conditional admissions will develop a plan to complete the remaining courses with the assistance of the Student Success Navigator.

Academic Prerequisites English Composition 5 creditsENGL&101 or equivalent Social Sciences 5 creditsAny college level course Humanities 5 creditsAny college level course Quantitative Reasoning 5 credits A college level math course with Intermediate Algebra as its prerequisite Natural Sciences 10 credits Must include one course (5 credits) with lab This degree has an academic bridge component that may be completed after admission but prior to entering the first quarter of program coursework. This allows students to complete general education coursework that may not have been taken in the course of completing the Associate level degree in their discipline. We encourage all applicants to work with an adviser in planning their program from their first interest in application.

Once your application is submitted… Enrollment Services reviews application packet – determines completeness Cross-check what you self-reported with the documents you provided, and tally your points Qualifying applicants are offered admissions to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation and Logistics Management

Pre-application Advising Meet with the Student Success Navigator for the Bachelor programs to… – Review your previous education/course work to verify that you meet the minimum requirements to apply to the program – Develop a class plan to meet all prereqs prior to application or for conditional acceptance – Discuss any questions you may have regarding materials required in the application
