2 History PepsiCo founded in 1965 by Donald M. Kendall and Herman W. Lay through merging their companies. Kendall was the president and CEO of Pepsi and Lay was the CEO of Frito-Lay.

3 History $510m in sales in first year. 1966 Doritos introduced. 1969 Pepsi adopts the red, white and blue packaging. 1970 PepsiCo passes the one billion in sales.

4 Breath of Line Some beverage products are: Pepsi, Tropicana, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Aquafina and Mirinda. Some snack products are: Lays, Tostitos, Fritos, Doritos, Ruffles, Cheetos, and Walkers. Total of twenty two products above one billion in revenue in 2010.

7 PepsiCo in China In China PepsiCo has two products that cater to the taste preference of the area. Quaker Congee Tropicana Pulp Sacs

8 Walkers Crisps Originated in 1948 in the UK. Henry Walker owned a meat shop, but his business was hurt from meat rations because of WWII. To keep production up he created hand cut fried potato “crisps”. Today Walkers is very successful in Europe.

9 Mirinda Is a soft drink that was originally created in Spain, until PepsiCo purchased Mirinda in 1970. Mirinda is distributed world wide and is successful in Europe and the Middle East.
