W RITING : F ACT AND O PINION A fact is something that actually happened or can be proved true or false. An opinion is a statement that tells someone's feelings about a subject. It is a personal judgment, view, or idea. It cannot be proven true or false. There are 12 months in a year. May is my favorite month of the year. A bicycle has two wheels. I like Tim’s bicycle better than mine.
