2. 1.This one is a shot of the horn with the acorn nut removed. STEP 1

3. 1.This one shows the horn as it hangs from the wiring. 2. I wonder why the wires are criss- crossed like this? 3. Anyway, if you take the horn off and forget, here it is... ? STEP 2

4. 1.This one shows the cover removed from the horn... note the tabs on the cover where the horn mounts. there are 2 nuts welded to the tab inserts (proper terminology anyone?) 2.The tabs go on the cover, then the horn goes on the tabs. 3.By reversing this, you can get about1/8 to 1/4 inch of extra clearance. STEP 3

5. 1.Take the clips off, then put them on the horn assembly. 2.They just slide on. here is how they should end up, but you will find that everything goes together better if you wait until the end to slide the clips on... STEP 4

6. 1.Here is the final product. the horn assembly slips BEHIND the chromed cover’s flanges, and then the clips slide onto the assembly. 2.The bolts will then put it all back together. BEHIND STEP 5

7. 1.This is a view from the top after putting it all back together. Wires go where they should, by the way. I did take the flat washer and put it BEHIND the frame tab. 2.I don't notice that I am hitting the horn with my knee, and there is about 1/4 inch between the horn and the cylinder.
