Analysis of Evidence of Student Learning 1.Historic data demonstrates improvement in student learning: a)Multi-year analysis shows an average improvement of 10% from pre test to post test. b)Comparison to Oklahoma Regional institution norms is anecdotal, indicating that students have difficulty with the same concepts indicated by testing at Cameron. c) Comparison to national norms is not available. 2.Cameron participated in standardized test program called Sails. Library faculty will be analyzing and comparing outcomes from that test with local testing. Fall 2008 Program Quality Improvement Report 2007-2008 9

Documenting Shared Responsibility 1.Evidence of faculty member participation completed: a)Faculty member participation document b)Assessment Activity Matrix c)Department Faculty meeting minutes on assessment 2.Discuss the role of each faculty member in the assessment process. Developing program outcomes is done by the Library Faculty. Administering assessment measurements is done by the class instructor. Recording assessment results is done by the class instructor. Analysis of assessment results done is by the Department Chair. Developing action plan to improve student learning is done by the Library Director and the Chair of the Department with input from the Library Faculty.
