When is it open? 8:00 am-4:00 pm daily

Why use the library? Read in comfortable chairs Complete school work Study Research or type assignments on computers Quiet space (headphones available at the desk)

What are the rules? Talk on your phone in the hall Eat in the cafeteria Drinks in the Parking Lot except water Chat and visit in the cafeteria Computers for schoolwork only

Free wireless! Laptops and smartphones can connect with the internet in the library!

How do I print from the computer? 5 black and white pages are free $.05 per page after that Colour printing is $ 0.25 Instructions for printing are at the desk

Can I photocopy or scan documents? YES! Log in on the library printer 5 pages or less are free See the library staff for help

How do I send work home? Set up a PTSD email student account- it’s easy http://www.pembinatrails.ca/ Or set up at Gmail account Get a USB/flashdrive to save work (don’t leave it in the computer)

What Newspapers Do We Have? Winnipeg Free Press -print and online- passwords are in the library the online The Globe and Mail –library use only (Canada’s national newspaper) The Metro – free copies

How do we find books and DVDs in the library? Use the Destiny Catalogue Search by Author, Title, Subject, Keyword, Series Go to the Destiny FR icon on the desktop or from home Log in to see what you have out

BORROWING FROM THE LIBRARY 2 week loan period Renew if you need longer Watch for overdue lists Pay for lost books You need your Go Card to borrow! Leave any books you don’t want on the tables- don’t reshelve them in the wrong places!
