Field Study Each study group needs to bring: tool kit, science notebooks/assignment, and pencils At the park: claim your habitat bubble, collect your data, record your data, pH test your water sample. Use the data sheet provided, but record all your information You will have about 25 minutes. Make sure you have all materials before returning to school. Be on your best behavior so you can return tomorrow! Remember if you get a conduct referral you may not return to the park and also not go on the zoo trip either!

DUE Wednesday, February 17th Draw a picture that shows all biotic and abiotic factors you observed. It will need to be colored.

Complete your STEM Written Report Template through Materials - Due by FRIDAY! This is an individual grade and you DO NOT need to work with your partner on this part. Use the STEM website to fill in your template Big Idea: (put in your own words) Situation: (put in your own words) Goal: (put in your own words) Role: (put in your own words) Audience: (put in your own words) Essential Questions: Use the STEM website and additional research to answer these questions. Include facts, figures, and data, if possible. Pictures and diagrams are OK as well. Title : Create your own catchy title related to your project. Purpose or Problem Statements: What is the problem you are trying to solve? What is the purpose of your project? Explain in 3-5 sentences.

Background Research Describe what your career field does. When and how did your career field first develop? (yellow/pink) What are some important issues facing your career field? (yellow/pink) What are some examples of current research in your career field? (yellow/pink) Why your career field important(yellow/pink) Conclusion – Restate the importance of your career field/what they do. Materials Product #1: (ie: newspaper article) Write a list of materials you will need to complete this product.
