2. I am 26 years old. This class will be the first online course I have taken. I started the SJU Instructional Technology program about two years ago but had to withdraw from my cohort last year since I was deployed to Iraq. I am interested in seeing the differences between the two programs, if there are any.

3. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Minor in Mathematics. Before being deployed I taught in the Central Bucks School District. I had the awarding experience of teaching multiple grade levels including kindergarten, First, Fifth, and Sixth Grades. Currently two of my strongest interests in the education field are the use of technology in the classroom (obviously) and Response to Intervention.

4. Outside of Education I am a Reconnaissance Platoon Leader for the 56 th Stryker Brigade. I am also a volunteer wrestling coach. When I am not teaching or doing some type of military training you can find me watching the Phillies, reading, running, or playing softball.
