“Horne Elementary was named for a veteran Cy-Fair teacher of 36 years, Magdalene Horne. Mrs. Horne gave our school a legacy of excellence and a dedication to the belief that children are our future.” - Stephanie Thomas

Horne Elementary is a Title 1 campus in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. During the 2012-2013 school year Horne had a total of 1,052 students enrolled. Sixty-six percent of the students were identified as economically disadvantaged, and thirty-two percent of the were identified as English language learners.
