4. THOSE WITH PLACEMENTS STILL TO BE CONFIRMED: See Miss Fleming at lunchtime today about your placement As soon as your placement is confirmed go through the same steps

5. TO START DOING THIS WEEK: Contact your employer Arrange your transport. If you require a bus pass please arrange to get one as soon as possible. Book safety boots if required – see Mrs Wilson in the school office. A deposit will be required.

6. WHEN YOU ARE ON PLACEMENT: Make sure that you are on time Listen to and follow instructions Always ask if you are unsure of something Use your initiative – act like an employee Be friendly and keep smiling Contact BOTH the school and your employer if you are absent

7. AND... Complete the pupil report on your placement Give the employer’s report form to your supervisor to complete These will be given out is Learner Journey classes before the work experience week. Pupils not in their Learner Journey class should collect them from the Guidance base.
