Capital Name: The capital of Mexico is Mexico City Size: It is the largest capital, highest city, and home to 1/5 of Mexico’s people.

History When: 1517 By who: Hernan Cortez and his Spanish crew Result: Mexico’s language, people, and way of living changed. The Spanish also brought small pox which killed many Indians.

Culture Religion: Roman Catholic Races: Mulattos, Castizo and Mestizo Recreation Activities: Football in the MFL, more commonly known in the U.S. as soccer.

Family Size: Families range in size, but usually are large. Grandparents often live with the family. Relationships: People in Mexico hold high value towards children and elders. Family is very important!

Holidays Fiestas: Are important to the Mexican Life Semana Santa: A week long celebration of Christmas. Day of the Dead : A day to remember the dead and celebrate life.
