2 Pronoun A word that takes the place of a noun.

3 Personal Pronoun refers to people or things I, me, you, he, she, they, it

4 Subject Pronoun Type of personal pronoun that is used as the subject of a sentence. Example: He likes to read mystery books.

5 Object Pronoun Used as the object of a verb or a preposition. Example: Sarah sat beside him in class.

6 Possessive Pronoun shows ownership mine, her, ours, his, yours

7 Indefinite Pronoun Does not refer to a definite, person, place, thing or idea all, anyone, everybody, something

8 Demonstrative Pronoun Points out a specific person, place, thing or idea. Only 4 of them! this, that, these, those

9 Reflexive Pronoun Refer to the subject and directs the action of the verb back to the subject. Ends with self or selves (myself, ourselves, himself, yourselves)
