Hormones – Biofeedback FSH – follicle stimulating hormone Released by pituitary gland Stimulates follicle development (where the egg is) Stimulates follicle to release Estrogen The increase in estrogen in the blood triggers the pituitary to release luteinizing hormone (LH) Triggers release of egg from follicle Stimulates follicle to form corpus luteum Corpus luteum releases estrogen and progesterone
