3. The History The tower was originally built as the part of the town fortification in the 1330s. The first written records appeared in the 15th century.

4. The upper part of the tower was destroyed in 1468. It was during the attack of Matthias Corvinus’s army on Trebic. Thanks to the solid foundations and thick walls the tower is still standing.

6. There used to be a flat at the level of the gallery. It was occupied by a bellman. The last bellman was Mr. Bohumil Čecháček. His widow lived in the tower until 1956.
