2. Location They lived on the northern part of the world. The land looked like a hilly terrain. They were in the north.

3. Homes The Algonquians lived in tepees. Add a picture of their homes. They used bark to make their homes and they looked very colorful. They used bark and Cow Hide to make their home.

4. Clothing They wore leather leggings and boots. Women wore leather dresses belted at the waist. They looked colorful and had tassel hanging from their clothes. It is made of leather.

5. Food They would eat corn, squash. They ate vegetables. Sometimes they would hunt. Yes. Usually they would hunt. Do they grow some of their food?

6. Roles of Men and Women The men would have to hunt for food and build houses. The women made clothing and make the crops.

7. Trades and Art They made axes and arrow heads form stone. The women helped weave and did pottery. They only traded art work with a cupule of tribes.

8. Interesting Information In the olden days many far north Algonquians tattooed their bodies. The woman only tattooed the side of their faces and the men got tattooed mostly all over their body.
